Inside the Creative Process

From early web chapters to published novels

Long before the finished books, portions of The Anthropocene Sagas appeared online as an evolving series of short chapters.

The pages below preserve some of those early versions, along with the experimental chapter artwork that accompanied them.

Elements of this work were subsequently developed, revised and incorporated into the published novels Terminal Warfare: Lady, Scientist, Lover, Spy and Ghost of the Forgotten Snows.

Click a cover to read the surviving early version of the chapter.
